Pastor Pamela Hart
Psalmist, preacher, teacher, writer, orator and womens advocate and activist, describes this great woman of God, Rev. Pamela Smith-Hart, Also known as Pastor Hart.
Born in Hillsboro, Texas Rev. Pamela as she is affectionately called, accepted Christ at the age of ten under her father, Pastor Clemmie Smith at McDonald/Pine Street Church of Christ in Hillsboro, Texas. Because growing up in a Christian home was not a foreign affair and she had a heart to win souls for Christ, Rev. Hart began her own personal evangelistic work during her teenage years with street ministry and hosting home parties for teenagers entitled "Introductions to Christ". These informative years placed an unquenchable desire, thirst and drive that lead to digging deeper into the things of God and his call and purpose for her life.
On December 8, 2000, Rev Pamela was licensed to preach within the Baptist denomination and later went on to be ordained Assistant Pastor under a non-denominational curriculum. She is currently serving as the Founding Pastor of Woman to Woman Family Network Ministries
Pastor Hart's love for ministering to people, women in particular, has been exemplified through her journalistic talents as the co-editor of “The Woman's Corner” a monthly newsletter. By hosting conferences that recognize, celebrate, and honor those in the community, her great tenacity and zeal continues to bring people from all walks of life, backgrounds, ethnicities and faiths together and affords them the opportunity to join forces for the betterment of the community.
In 2005, Rev. Hart not only hosted a talk show called Woman to Woman, but also founded the Sweet 16 Women’s Banquet and then in 2012 founded the 12 Men of Honor Banquet. Her ministry of helps transcends into the health profession where Rev. Pamela is a registered nurse and has started some graduate work on her Master's Degree in Health Administration.
Despite the many setbacks, adversities, and catastrophic devastations endured, including abuse, divorce, depression, and death; Rev. Pamela Hart has stayed the course and has persevered. It is her hearts’ desire to use her “METHOD” to reach women: “motivate, empower, teach, honor, opportunity and direction are the meanings in the acronym “METHOD.”
Pastor Hart lives with her husband, Pastor Ron Hart in Wichita Falls, Texas. They are a stepfamily and together share the lives of six children; Rena Hart, Cherelle Hart, Kanesha Hart, Sidney Carter ll, Katrina Hart and Sheldon Carter.
